Setting up a home office
Research shows that 84% of those surveyed expect employees to work more from home in the long term. This new work reality requires us to look at the workplace in a different way. A healthy home workplace is becoming even more important for every employee. As we spend more time in our home office, it's also important that this environment is ergonomically designed. Below you will find an overview of the different solutions we offer for this.

The working environment of the future
The working environment as we know it is evolving at tremendous speed. The burning issues for many organisations are: ‘What does the increase in home working mean for us an organisation?’ and: ‘What does the office environment of the future look like?’ Of course, we are working hard on this at Ahrend. It is forecast that in the (near) future we will not be spending the majority of our time at a single, central location. Our vision foresees a transition to the so-called Hybrid Working Community. What does this mean for your organisation?
More about the Hybrid Working CommunityThe importance of ergonomics
We sit too often and too long. Also in the home workplace we mainly sit and move too little. All that sitting is very stressful for our bodies. In many cases, it is also the reason for back, neck and arm complaints, i.e. RSI, repeated overload. The right ergonomic working environment ensures that employees feel mentally and physically healthy.

Our tips and tricks
Employers provide vital working environments in the workplace, but at home we sometimes forget the importance of a healthy workspace. We frequently end up at the kitchen table or on the sofa with the laptop on our lap. In the long term, an ergonomic home workspace is hugely important in order to avoid physical injury. There are several aspects to consider here. For example: an ergonomic office chair, a height-adjustable desk and an eye-level monitor.
